“Our orphanages, oratories and Salesian schools are welcoming everyone who is fleeing the war. Our youth pastoral centres changed to first humanitarian aid centres. Some of our confreres are helping the civilians in the immediate combat area by providing them with aid and spiritual support. These days we are organizing extensive international aid fundraising for the civilians who were harmed by bombings the most,” Salesian Don Anatoliy Hetsyanyn, Delegate for Social Communications of the Vice-Province of the Greek Catholic Ukraine (UKR) wrote us. “Please, let’s unify in prayer for peace and humanitarian aid,” Don Anatoly urges and he also added that he thanked the Salesian family in Slovakia for their humanitarian aid.
