The Minister of Education of South Sudan, Ms Awut Deng, visited St. Don Bosco Secondary School in Maridi last week, which is also supported by our organization SAVIO o.z. through the Adoption of Classes program. This was a great event for the school and is a sign of recognition of the work of the Salesian brothers, who have been managing it for many years. In recent years, the quality level of the school has increased greatly, great emphasis is placed on academic results and the regular attendance of students. The students themselves were also involved in this visit, which was accompanied by a school music band and a Scout troop.

Through our Adoption Programme of School Classes, you can support this school as well as other “vacant” classes in Salesian schools in South Sudan waiting for their donors. Thank you for your prayers for the missionaries and for the young people they serve and for all your support.
