Summer camps for Roma children took place during the 3 rd week of July 2011 in Terňa, Malý Slivník (Prešov dist.) and Plavecký Štvrtok (Malacky dist.) They were full of games, fun, drama, creative workshops and free time activities. Tutoring, talks and prayers were also important parts of the camps. 15 young animators were ready to spend their free time with the boys and girls in Roma settlements after completion of the training in Tatranska Lomnica. They spent the days together full of vibrant programs which was beneficial not only for the Roma children but for the volunteers as well. These 2 nd annual day camps for children were guided by Don Peter Kuchár, SDB and sr. Margita Dubinová, FMA. The camps were financially supported by Renovabis Foundation.
