We are happy to receive the news that two former students of Don Bosco Secondary School in Tonj, South Sudan, which is supported through the SAVIO Adoption of Classes program, have decided to dedicate their lives to God. On 6th of January 2023, sister Assunta made her perpetual vows into the hands of the Superior General of the Missionary Congregation of the Evangelizing Sisters of Our Lady in Kenya. The solemn holy mass was celebrated by Mons. Joseph Mlola, Bishop of the Diocese of Kigoma in Tanzania. Some time ago, the Salesian brother Demos Yohana was also ordained a deacon in Nairobi, Kenya, and he is waiting for priestly ordination this year. Let us include both of these young people in our prayers that they may persevere on their journey and always be a light to those they will serve.
If you wish to support other young people and their education, we invite you to participate in regular support through the Adoption of Classes program, specifically Don Bosco Secondary School in Tonj. With a contribution of 35,50 or 100 EUR per month, you can help them get an education.
