During June our volunteers Barča from South Sudan and Magdaléna and Baška from Tanzania returned to Slovakia. They had an unforgettable time on their mission and we believe that the experience they took away will accompany them throughout their lives. Barča spent six months in the Salesian Sisters’ community in Gumbo, South Sudan. Her hard work, determination and smile have certainly borne fruit. After spending a year in the Salesian community in Didia, Baška and Magdalénka learned a lot about the daily life of young people in this region. We thank them for their courage to go on the mission and for the time and love they gave to these people. Welcome home!
