On Sunday, June 19, we handed out missionary crosses to our ten volunteers who are going on a year-long mission to Tanzania, Kenya, South Sudan and Lunik IX. Together they spent a year of preparation in weekend retreats which ended with a retreat at the Salesian hut in Slávnica. As part of the retreat, the volunteers also went on a mission pilgrimage to Mount Butkov, where they met ex-volunteers who shared their mission experiences with them.
We wish them joy, smiles and humility on their journey and ask for your prayers for these courageous young people! And thank you to everyone who came to support them on this special day in Dubnica nad Váhom.
