The main objective of the project was to support education of children and youth from the streets of Nairobi. That is why it was necessary to build and equip a carpentry workshop in the Bosco Boys centre, Nairobi, where education in this vocation was started. The Salesians of Don Bosco took active part in the project, providing for the education. The programme supported education of disadvantaged youth, building their professional and social skills, and improving their chances at the labour market.
The project was supported by SlovakAid, the official programme of development assistance, by the sum of 137,734 euro.
