The Tehlička for South Sudan was supported by 206 schools, youth centres, parishes and other organizations from all over Slovakia. Also, many individual donors supported the fundraising campaign, including more than 8,000 SMS. The total gross outcome was 108,049.06 euro. Thanks to the donors, we were able to send the sum of 95,000 euro to support construction and functioning of a new hospital in Manguo (the Maridi district, the region of Western Equatoria) in South Sudan. The sum was used to purchase medical equipment and a mobile ambulance. A part of the sum also serves to cover yearly operational costs for the facility. The hospital became a part of the center, where the Salesians of Don Bosco run a primary school, a free time center, and a farm.
